Jur"Isaac" Park
(11/8/2016)
This video shows off my (slightly late) costume for Halloween 2016.
This dinosaur has jointed legs, a fully articulated neck joint, controllable mouth movement, and a fully finished exterior.
The interior skeleton was constructed out of cardboard and 1x2 wood boards (to help with stiffness). The exterior was made from airbrushing large sheets of crumpled brown paper, using a brush for the finer details around the face and feet. The mouth mechanism used a spring-loaded push-pull rod to go from my hand, through the neck, and end attached to the bottom jaw.
